The Origin

The Great India School is owned and run by Holy Hearts Educational Academy, which is a 30-year old institution established in the heart of the capital of Chhattisgarh, Raipur. The Great India School was conceptualised for creating a centre of excellence that can nurture strong individuals. A day boarding school can do so much more compared to a regular school when it comes to nurturing the students in a holistic fashion. A boarding school has even more opportunities at moulding students and hence we strive to become excellent guardians for our students. The founders of the school wanted to establish a school that could take in young individuals and create good and responsible adults. The Great India School was born out of a great vision. The school was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Dr. Raman Singh. At the inauguration ceremony, the Chairman of the school, Mr S.P. Singh spoke at length about the vision of creating an environment of national unity and the sense of national pride. The culture of the school is deeply rooted in Indian values. Since inception the school has taken in many boys and girls and has significantly transformed their personalities. The students of The Great India School are fondly called the great Indians. It is our dream that these great Indians go out into the world and spread their goodness. The school received affiliation from CBSE in 2017. Since then, the school has grown in strength and infrastructure. You are welcome to take a virtual tour of the school’s campus by clicking on this link.
